A friend asked us: "Will I finally receive my uncle's inheritance?"
The uncle is the brother of the querent's father, so we will work with derived houses.
Yet another chart where we find the Moon Void of Course. (This is a topic I am currently working on and researching, which I will post at some point with many examples—I have already gathered confirmed results where the chart was answered affirmatively and worked out just fine, even though the Moon was Void of Course).
The querent is represented by the 1st house, so they are Venus. The uncle is the 6th house (the 3rd derived from the father's 4th house), so the uncle is Mercury (Virgo).
Look how beautifully the chart illustrates the question and the situation: The Moon illuminates the 6th house—the uncle's house—showing the issue occupying the querent's mind. Mercury, ruler of both the 2nd house and the 6th house, represents both the querent's pocket (2nd) and the uncle himself (6th). These factors "love"—meaning they want—Venus (the querent), revealing the financial component the person is negotiating regarding their uncle. Furthermore, the Sun is also there, and both luminaries focus on the exact same point.
The uncle's money that the querent desires belongs to Mars (the 2nd derived house from the 6th, which is the 7th house of the chart). Mars is located in the 4th house. This is a positive sign that fills us with optimism, as it shows that the uncle's money is not going elsewhere, but is coming into the querent's family. However, we want to see if the querent themselves will ultimately receive it.
Venus (the querent) has just changed signs and is in the very first degrees of Scorpio. This sign on its own points to inheritance and financial matters. Additionally, Venus is right on the cusp of the 7th house, giving her the power to set things in motion regarding the case. Most importantly, however, she is in the 2nd derived house from the 6th—meaning, in the uncle's "pocket."
We now observe that the Moon is Void of Course. Some would rush to say that "nothing will come of it." I believe it is a mistake to draw such hasty conclusions without thoroughly analyzing the chart. The fact that the Moon is Void of Course might simply show us something about the unique progression of the case.
And yet, this Moon will save the day and ultimately provide the solution! The Moon "loves" Venus (the querent) and is positioned on the fortunate fixed stars Spica and Arcturus. It has already formed an aspect with Mars, holding its light (the uncle's money), and as soon as it changes signs, it will meet Venus (the querent). In other words, it transfers the money (Mars) and gives it to the querent (Venus).
Be careful, though, because there is a trap here: Someone could argue that the Sun will manage to aspect this Mars first (acting as an frustration/interference). And yet, the Sun does not manage to complete its aspect. If it had time to "catch" Mars, then yes, there would be a problem with the inheritance, because something or someone would step in and block the situation.
Here, however, we have no frustration. Ultimately, it is the Moon that beats the Sun to it and "catches" Venus first, bringing about the positive result. We wish our friend the best of luck! Note: as soon as we have any updates, we will post them on our blog.
