Part 2: Anaretic Degrees in Each Sign and How They Manifest

In this part of the article, we will move forward with specific examples for each zodiac sign individually, examining the way each one is called to operate (Read: Part 1 here)

English Articles, anaretic degree
Aries to Taurus
Anyone born with a planet in the final degree of Aries possesses an innate talent for initiating things, taking initiative, and leading others with courage. They are a natural-born leader. However, the problem is a tendency to rush everything, become egocentric, or anger easily. This raw drive must now shift and transition into Taurus. The individual is challenged to learn patience, ground their ideas, and work steadily so that their enthusiasm can yield tangible and lasting results.
Taurus to Gemini
At the 29th degree of Taurus, an individual is born with a deep, innate ability to manage material matters and finances, provide stability, and recognize the true value of things and people. The critical point, however, is that an obsession with material possessions, possessiveness, stubbornness, and a terror of any change (Taurus themes) must be overcome. All this stable foundation and accumulated security must now be transmitted and expanded through the qualities of the next sign, Gemini. The individual is called to become more flexible, open up socially, share their ideas, communicate (Gemini), and realize that true security is found not only in material assets (Taurus) but in knowledge and the exchange of information (Gemini).
Gemini to Cancer
A planet at the 29th degree of Gemini reveals an extraordinary, innate talent for communication, information gathering, writing, and mental agility. The individual is born with a natural ability to perceive everything quickly. However, the tendency toward superficial engagement, mental restlessness, the scattering of energy, and overanalyzing feelings through logic (Gemini themes) must now be overcome. All this communicative and intellectual experience needs to be transferred to the next sign, Cancer. The goal is for knowledge to gain emotional depth, for communication to become more profound and protective, and for the individual to learn to express (Gemini) what they feel (Cancer) rather than just what they think, providing emotional security (Cancer) to those around them.
Cancer to Leo
Similarly, at the 29th degree of Cancer, the individual carries a deep, innate capacity to protect, emotionally nurture others, and understand family psychology. The "critical" point here is that obsessions with the past, oversensitivity, a tendency toward introversion, victimization, or complaints (Cancer themes) must be overcome. All this rich emotional background must be transmitted and expressed through the qualities of the next sign, Leo. The individual is challenged to step out of their shell and the comfort of the family unit, gain confidence, step into the spotlight, create, shine, and use their emotional intelligence (Cancer) to guide or inspire others with generosity (Leo).
Leo to Virgo
A planet at the 29th degree of Leo bestows an exceptional, innate talent for creativity, self-expression, leadership, and generosity. Historically, this degree was considered even more unique and powerful because it used to align with the Royal Fixed Star Regulus (the Little King). The individual has a natural ability to captivate attention, inspire others, and rule with their heart. However, an obsession with personal promotion, the constant need for validation, egocentrism, and pride (Leo themes) are the crisis points that must be dissolved. This radiant, creative energy must now pass into the next sign, Virgo. The individual is called to ground their brilliance and put it at the service of a higher purpose. The goal is to learn to offer practical help, focus on detail (Virgo), and understand that true recognition (Leo) comes through service and work (Virgo), rather than just applause (Leo).
Virgo to Libra
A planet here shows an innate talent for analysis, organization, healing, and attention to detail. The individual has accumulated vast experience in offering services and fixing what is broken. However, the anaretic obsession with perfectionism, excessive criticism, and daily anxiety (Virgo themes) must now be transmuted and transferred to the next sign, Libra. The planet's evolutionary need is to move away from constant work and isolation toward the need for relating, diplomacy, cooperation, art, and the pursuit of harmony in relationships, exchanging harsh criticism for the diplomacy and sweetness of Libra.
Libra to Scorpio
A planet at the 29th degree of Libra grants an extraordinary, innate talent for diplomacy, mediation, aesthetics, balancing relationships, and justice. The individual has a natural ability to understand the perspective of others and create harmony around them.
However, an obsession with superficial peace, indecisiveness, fear of conflict, and the tendency to suppress one's own needs just to be liked (Libra themes) represent the crisis points that must be undone. All this experience in relationships and social coexistence must now pass to the next sign, Scorpio. The individual is called to leave behind the need for polite pleasantries and dive into a deeper, more meaningful, and emotionally honest interaction (Scorpio). The objective is to learn to manage crisis, accept the darker or difficult parts of relationships, and face challenges with courage and psychological strength instead of avoiding them.
Scorpio to Sagittarius
Anyone with a planet in the final degree of Scorpio is born with an innate talent for business, money management, and immediately understanding the psychology and hidden motives of others. They are a person of immense inner strength who knows how to reinvent themselves through hardships.
The problem here, however, is a strong tendency toward obsessions, jealousy, suspicion, and overwhelming passion. The individual may experience intense crises, financial rollercoasters, or try to control everything around them while keeping everything hidden inside.
This must now change and transition into the next sign, Sagittarius. The individual is urged to take all this profound power and passion (Scorpio) and turn it toward the light: toward knowledge, philosophy, teaching, travel, and the pursuit of justice (Sagittarius). Instead of keeping things to themselves out of suspicion, they must learn to share their wisdom, gain optimism, and expand their horizons.
Sagittarius to Capricorn
Anyone with a planet in the final degree of Sagittarius is born with an innate talent for teaching, philosophy, and sharing knowledge. They are a person full of optimism, a love for travel, adventure, and freedom, always enjoying the big picture in life.
The issue here, though, is a tendency toward excess (Sagittarius). The individual can become dogmatic (thinking they are always right), scatter their energy in too many directions at once, or remain stuck in theories and big ideas without putting anything into practice.
This lesson must now change and pass into the next sign, Capricorn. The grand ideas and optimism of Sagittarius are called to manifest into reality. The individual must learn to set boundaries, get organized, develop discipline, and work seriously. The goal is to take all this accumulated wisdom and use it to build something stable, useful, and enduring in the real world.
Capricorn to Aquarius
Correspondingly, a planet at the 29th degree of Capricorn indicates a deep, innate talent for organization, management, discipline, and taking on responsibilities. The individual knows very well how to build structures and achieve professional goals. The critical point here is that the obsession with control, social status, ambition, conservatism (Saturn), and the fear of failure (Capricorn themes) must be undone. All this leadership and structured experience must now be transmitted and expanded into the values of the next sign, Aquarius. The individual is called to use the power and authority they possess not for personal advancement, but for the common good, contribution to groups, social change, humanitarian action, and innovation (Aquarius).
Aquarius to Pisces
Anyone with a planet in the final degree of Aquarius is born with an innate talent for understanding the world's needs, working excellently within groups, and coming up with innovative ideas. They are a person who wants to offer to society and help others.
The problem here, however, is a tendency toward emotional distance and stubbornness. The individual can get overly stuck in their own ideas, stubbornly demand absolute independence, and view life very coldly and logically, like a theory.
This lesson must now change and transition into the next sign, Pisces. The individual is urged to leave behind "cold logic" and detachment, and open their heart. They must learn to feel others deeply (Pisces), showing genuine understanding, compassion, and forgiveness, transforming theories (Aquarius) for a better world into true, warm love in practice.
Pisces to Aries
This is perhaps the most unique anaretic degree, as it sits at the very end of the entire zodiac cycle. A planet at the 29th degree of Pisces shows an immense, innate talent for empathy, spirituality, artistic expression, and selfless offering. The individual carries the wisdom of all the previous zodiac signs. The difficulty here lies in a tendency toward escapism, victimization, delusions, and a lack of boundaries (Pisces themes). All this chaotic, cosmic experience and psychic sensitivity must now be transmuted and pass into the first sign of the new cycle, Aries. The individual is called to step out of passivity, establish an identity, take action with courage, and use their spiritual wisdom and faith (Pisces) to become a leader (Aries) in practice.
In the third part of our article series, we will move forward with a specialized analysis of the dwadashamsas (duads), presenting their correspondence individually for each zodiac sign that carries an anaretic degree.

Final Dispositor - Nothing in our chart works alone—everything connects!

Who is in charge of your chart? The hidden power of the Final Dispositor and Mutual Receptions in our chart, and how our planets secretly cooperate with each other.

Sometimes we look at the Sun, the Moon, or the Ascendant and the Ascendant ruler (which is also called the chart ruler, as we know it rules the entire horoscope), and yet, there is a planet pulling all the strings. It is the Final Dispositor, which we should not ignore.
Also, in this article, I want to highlight how significant it is that nothing in our chart works alone—everything connects!
It is a mistake to look at a planet in isolation, as if it has no relation to the others. In our astrological chart, the planets are constantly talking to each other. This happens either through mutual and mixed receptions, through a closed circuit, or when the energy of multiple planets ends up in a single dominant one: the Final Dispositor.
Our astrological chart is not scattered pieces. It is a living chain where planets constantly cooperate and converse with one another.
The Final Dispositor is one of the most fascinating and essential tools of astrological interpretation, yet it is often overlooked by most people.
When a planet is in a sign, it follows the rules of that sign's ruler. When we reach a planet that is in its own sign (in its rulership) and all other planets ultimately lead to it, we have the Final Dispositor.
In this diagram, we see three planets acting as final dispositors of the chart. And this is of great significance. The conditions are shaped differently for the individual.
A quick example: Venus in Libra and Mercury in Libra. Venus is the ruler (dispositor) of Mercury, and in this case, Mercury's dispositor.
If, however, for example, the luminaries (the Sun and the Moon), Mars, Jupiter, and all the other planets are in signs that eventually lead to Venus—either in Libra or Taurus—then yes, Venus would be the Final Dispositor of the entire chart.
Why should we know our chart's Final Dispositor? Because since it is in its own sign, it operates without "filters" and interference. It is 100% itself and omnipotent. It knows exactly what it needs to do, dictates the entire energy of the chart, and that is where we will find solutions. If the final dispositor is Mars, we will approach life with action and courage, and perhaps with haste. If it is the Moon, with emotion and instinct, and so on.
In a horoscope, we have one Final Dispositor, while it is also very likely that some people might not have one at all, which is completely normal and happens to most people. In this case, we look to see if there are mutual receptions between the planets.
Let's look at a simple example: Mercury is in Libra (in Venus's home) and Venus is in Gemini (in Mercury's home).
What does this mean in practice? It means that the mind, logic (Mercury), and the heart (Venus) cooperate with their eyes closed! When the person tries to think logically (Mercury), the need for harmony, peace, and balance (Venus) immediately helps. In other words, there is an automatic mechanism in the individual that unites logic and emotion instantly, without any effort.
A closed circuit of planets: For example, Mars is in Cancer (answers to the Moon), the Moon is in Libra (answers to Venus), and Venus is in Aries (answers to Mars). This creates a loop!
What does this mean in practice for the person?
It means they do not react rigidly, nor do they make hasty decisions. In order to do something, their action (Mars), their emotion (the Moon), and their values (Venus) must first agree. There are different decision-making centers, and the individual does not react in a one-dimensional way.
An example without a Final Dispositor:
In the diagram below, we see that there are three planets in rulership in the chart: the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. Of course, we might have a slight problem here, as these three are all-powerful and "in charge," which means the chart has no Final Dispositor. Who will ultimately prevail depends on their aspects to one another and their house positions because since the Sun, Mercury, and Venus are simultaneously in their signs of rulership (Sun in Leo, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Libra), all this chart energy splits into three different dynamic points, and none of the three answers to the other. We have three all-powerful leaders, each ruling their own independent kingdom. To find a solution, these three must learn to cooperate.
Who will ultimately prevail will depend on which houses they are located in. If one of them is in an angular house (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th), it gains immense momentum, which will manifest much more intensely outwardly.
Their aspects also play an important role. If one of these planets forms many aspects with the rest of the planets in the chart, it will certainly have the first say.
Finally, if one of them rules the Ascendant, then that is the one that will largely determine our behavior and external expression.
Attention: we can also have another special astrological structure! Not through aspects, though, but through placement in signs and essential dignities (rulership/exaltation). In the diagram, Venus.
Even if a planet in rulership is not in an angular house, it can gain immense momentum through its position. For example, a Venus in Libra in the 2nd house (succedent) may not have the extroversion of an angular house, but it becomes the center of gravity of the chart.
This happens because it functions as the final receiver of other planets: it receives Uranus via conjunction, hosts Jupiter in Libra, and connects through a powerful mixed reception (rulership and exaltation) with Saturn in Taurus. Thus, without even needing traditional aspects, this Venus collects, filters, and defines the energy of three important planets, proving that the 2nd house of values and security becomes the key to the chart's solutions—and of course, it is located in its natural "home," the 2nd house of Taurus.
I repeat: This process shows us the most important element of astrology: nothing in our chart works alone, everything connects!
This is clearly seen in mutual or mixed reception. When two planets are "hosted" in each other's sign, a secret, powerful connection is created between them. Even if they have no official aspect (meaning they don't "see" each other in the chart), these two cooperate closely and help each other.
Our chart is a chain, where every link moves the next. To understand ourselves, we must stop seeing planets individually and start seeing the whole picture and how they work together.
That is why it is well worth taking a look at your astrological chart and drawing this diagram!
As soon as you connect your planets, you will immediately understand:
Which planet talks to which.
How your own chain is formed.
Who your own hidden "boss" is making the decisions.
It is the simplest way to see how your mind, heart, and actions become one. Look into it, connect the pieces, and find your own unique chain!
Good luck!!!
Anyone who wishes can share their details with us so we can find these hidden aspects in their chart (the Final Dispositor, Mutual Receptions, and the planetary "Chain" or closed circuit).
If you would like, I can help you fine-tune the translation for a specific platform, or we can analyze an example birth chart together to map out its Final Dispositor and planetary chains. Let me know how you would like to proceed!
