The Geodetic Midheaven (MC) of Paris & Marine Le Pen

Let us analyze Marine Le Pen (born August 5, 1968) based on the fixed Geodetic Midheaven (MC) of Paris at 2° 21′ Aries (read more about the Geodetic System here).

Le Pen has her natal Moon at 3° 21′ Capricorn. This degree forms an exact square (90 degrees) with the Geodetic MC of Paris (2° 21′ Aries). The Moon in Capricorn points to a woman with a massive ambition for control, structure, and power (Capricorn). The square to the country's MC shows that her relationship with French authority is a permanent, harsh battle. She represents a major popular current (Moon = the people), which is, however, in constant conflict (square) with the establishment of the capital (Midheaven).

Currently, transiting Neptune (at 2° 30′ Aries) sits exactly on top of France's Geodetic MC (2° Aries) and forms an exact square with Le Pen's natal Moon (3° Capricorn).

When Neptune hits the Moon of a political leader, it typically triggers delusions and a flawed perception of reality. Le Pen and her party may look at Macron's dissolution and believe that power is a "ripe fruit" ready to fall into their hands. Yet, Neptune shows that this certainty is a mere illusion. However, because the aspect is a square (a harsh aspect) and Neptune always brings disillusionment, the outcome of such a governance would likely be disappointing.

The Current Reality: Marine Le Pen found herself at the epicenter of a massive European Parliament fund embezzlement scandal (the notorious fake assistants case).

• The Conviction: In 2025, she was sentenced in the first instance to imprisonment (to be served with an electronic bracelet) and a 5-year deprivation of her political rights, a verdict that threatened to knock her completely out of the race for the 2027 Presidential Elections.
