Greece vs Netherlands: What the stars say about the epic battle at Toumba (Thessaloniki)

The Greek National Team's match against the Netherlands for the UEFA Nations League will take place this Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 21:45.

The National Team has made a stunning start with 2 wins out of 2 in the group (2-1 victories over Serbia and 1-0 over Germany), sitting in 1st place with 6 points, compared to the Netherlands' 4.

If Greece wins, they will reach 9 points, pulling 5 points clear of the Dutch and becoming the absolute favorite to capture first place in their League A group.

The Netherlands has been one of our worst "bogeymen" in recent years. In the Euro 2024 qualifiers, they beat us twice (3-0 in Eindhoven and 0-1 in Athens with a 90th-minute penalty by Van Dijk), denying us direct qualification.

The Astrological Chart of the Match

Therefore, in this event chart—which is drawn based on the exact time and location of the match—I apply a specific approach: since the Netherlands is the absolute favorite at this stage and Greece is the underdog, the 1st house represents the Netherlands and the 7th house represents Greece.

Astrological chart for the Greece vs Netherlands match

Examining the event chart, we notice that the favorite, the Netherlands (1st house), is represented by Mercury, while the underdog, Greece (7th house), is represented by Jupiter.

Almost exactly on the cusp of the 1st house, we find Uranus. This element reveals that the Netherlands might play in an eccentric or highly nervous manner, while also leaving the door open for a sudden upset. Although this alone is not definitive proof of the final outcome (victory or defeat), it is undoubtedly a very significant indicator.

Jupiter (Greece) is located inside the 4th house—which is the 10th derived house from the 7th, representing the prize and victory. While its position there is positive, it would be even more ideal if it were closer to the cusp of the 4th house, as that would clearly offer more hope for a triumph.

Searching for additional favorable elements, we examine the Part of Fortune (using the day formula), which is located at 12°37’ Aquarius. The Part goes and "sits" right on the cusp of the Netherlands' 10th house. This is a difficult sign, initially showing that luck aligns with the favorite. Uranus (the modern ruler) is on the cusp of the ascendant. Furthermore, the traditional ruler of the 10th house, Saturn, is in Aries, making no significant aspects.

However, the Moon holds the key to the upset. The Moon has just passed Saturn, and its final aspect is a sextile with Jupiter (Greece) inside the 4th house. This final aspect is a very strong indication that Greece can rise to the occasion and get the highly desired result!

Although the chart shows that the Netherlands will have the upper hand and control at the beginning, the final indications turn in favor of Greece for the victory. We wish the best of luck to our National Team, hoping they secure the coveted win and become the absolute favorite to win first place in the League A group!
